In Good Hands
In CARE & RECOVERY each patient requires special care. The patients here are wild animals and adapting to a hospital environment can be scary. All different kinds of hospital beds are provided for all sorts of patients such as snuggly pouches for joeys or temperature-controlled boxes for snakes.
In CARE & RECOVERY our job is to ensure that every patient's stay is comfortable, that they feel secure, have nutritious meals provided and have ongoing treatment to help them on the road to recovery.
Visit and you can 'share the care' by observing keepers and nurses on their daily ward rounds. Fun 'Who Am?' activity drawers allow you to identify patients and learn about their diagnosis and treatment.
After CARE & RECOVERY, the next port of call is REHABILITATION, where patients are prepared for life back in the wild - the best outcome for any patient.
